The Healing Power of Black Cumin

Brief History the BLACK SEED

Nigella sativa is commonly known as Black seed.

Abstracted from Wikipedia

Nigella sativa has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries, both as a herb and pressed into oil, in Asia, Middle East, and Africa. It has been traditionally used for a variety of conditions and treatments related to respiratory health, stomach and intestinal health, kidney and liver function, circulatory and immune system support, and for general well-being.

Ibn Sina, most famous for his volumes called The Canon of Medicine, refers to nigella as the seed that stimulates the body's energy and helps recovery from fatigue and dispiritedness. It is also included in the list of natural drugs of 'Tibb-e-Nabavi', or "Medicine of the Prophet (Muhammad)", according to the tradition "Hold on to the use of the black seeds for in it is healing for all diseases except death" (Sahih Bukhari vol. 7 book 71 # 592).
" Hold on," indicates a long-term use - Hadith ( Sayings of the Prophet (SWS) narrated by his companions.)7.591

BLACK SEED

Nigella Sativa is commonly known as Black seed is also called "seed of blessing" or Habbatul Baraka in Arabic. It taste a bit bitter and is about the size of the sesame seed. Its colour is so black-it is also kwon as Black onion seed, Black cumin, Black sesame.

The Black Seed is becoming so popular nowadays and many vitamins and beauty products are adding Black Seed to their already existed products.

Some manufacturers have gone over board by adding too many fruits, seeds, as many as six or seven into one bottling. And then marked up the price so high that only rich people can afforded to buy it. By now almost everybody already knows the many values what that humble tiny seed can produces, so there is not need to add so many stuffs to further boost it. Honey and Black seed- both make the best combination. Honey is sweet and naturally will overpower the bitter taste of the Black seed.

Even if I can afford to buy those expensive Black seed plus products, I still stick to the humble Black seed with that humble Honey. Everybody can afford to buy honey and loose Black seed. just my two cents......

for General health

Take 1 tablespoon blackseed oil morning and night, or at least in the morning before breakfast on its own or with 1 teaspoon pure honey.
Or Black seed with honey in a straw. One in the morning and one at night, so convinent. Available at this online shopping.
